Sunday, the 13th of April 2003, Roskilde Kings, Denmark, played Carlstad Crusaders, Sweden, in the EFAF Cup, at Vanløse stadium infront of about 500 spectators.

One could not ask for a better day to play a game of football on this sunny day in April. Only a cool breeze reminded us that summer was still to come.

At noon Carlstad Crusader, who were announced favourites, kicked off and took immediatly control of the game. Thanks to a strong defense, Crusaders kept Kings from getting a decent drive. In the 1st quarter the game moved back and forth, but Crusaders did manage to score a Touchdown.

The 2nd quarter Carlstad took advange of the many mistakes and turnovers and scored a couple more touchdowns.

In the 2nd half nothing seemed to work for the Kings and with a total of six interceptions, two returned for touchdowns, the game never got close.
Crusaders passing game started to work and they got couple of long passes for touchdown. Longest was for 55 yards thrown by the strong swedish QB to receiver nr. 12.

On this day Kings was out classed 0 – 46 by a phisically, well organised strong swedish team, who now face the defending danish champions NFA Avedøre Monarchs in the group semi-final.
